A reiki attunement should be done the right way. But what is exactly right? The right way is what feels right. It is a personal thing to get a reiki attunement or session. Doing research is important, and using your intuition. Getting the right one has everything to do with the person who will be giving you the attunement.
Picking the right instructor is the key. Take it from a logical perspective first if you are unsure. Experience is important, how much does the reiki master have? How real and honest do they seem to you? Have they had any successes? Have they created their own systems? Do they strengthen the effect by combining other energies? Do they present themselves as professionals?
You will probably know right away which master is right for you to do your reiki attunement if you can trust your intuition.
